Kalimbas are reed instruments that originate in southern Africa and can be found there in countless shapes and designs. Our Kalimba B9 is made of solid American cherry and is carefully handcrafted in Germany. The surfaces are treated with vegetable oils and waxes and polished. The 9 reeds are precisely tuned in A minor, which supports intuitive and free playing.

The Kalimba B9 electric model is equipped with a piezo pickup and a 6.35 mm jack socket. This allows direct sound pickup on the instrument without the need for an additional microphone.
