Yoga teacher, author, composer / Zurich - Switzerland
A normal day for me is usually characterized by several influences. Mainly music, movement and (of course) yoga. I love working with my voice, my body and sounds every day. That's why I get my inspiration from nature. On a "normal" day you can find me in various places: in the forest, climbing a mountain or at the airport...
You could say that the best thing about my job is the movement. But also the expression and the constant learning - be it through yoga poses, music software or learning a new instrument. For me, it means freedom when I can live out my passion in my work. And my passion is to move and express myself. I have the opportunity to constantly work with wonderful sounds and impressive people all over the world. That's why I not only move my body, but my entire life from country to country - all of this makes my job so incomparable and fulfilling.
I think it was this delicate sound that made me play the Sansula during my sessions. These angelic tones are wonderful for meditation. My students have also fallen in love with the Sansula. With the help of the Sansula, I can easily awaken my students from deep relaxation in Savasana or Yoga Nidra. The instrument is portable, small and handy, but still so diverse in its harmonies. Because of this range of sounds, I love composing on the Sansula. It is a versatile instrument that I would like to incorporate more into my compositions and guided meditations, which I also record. www.soundcloud.com/sparklingyoga
As I said, people quickly fall in love with the sound of the Sansula. My students love it because it has a calming, but also strengthening, relaxing and enriching effect. When you can just listen to this beautiful sound after a yoga session, you feel completely renewed, safe and light. That's what makes it so wonderful.
You should ask me about my favorite pieces of music and composers. I think you can learn a lot about people by knowing their favorite music. You could also ask me about my next ten travel destinations - I usually have at least ten destinations on my travel list 😉
The Sansula Renaissance .
Elena Mironov is not only an extremely experienced, but also an internationally active yoga and meditation teacher from Zurich. But that's not all - she is also known as an author and composer. She has been practicing yoga for over 16 years and works with the most important masters and teachers worldwide. Over the past 11 years, she has given yoga workshops on five continents and simultaneously created her own music in Denmark and Iceland. And for good reason: Elena loves to bring her two passions together: yoga and music. She has worked with a large number of musicians and performed live at various sessions, events and festivals. She also offers her very own and enchanting music for special yoga sessions. Elena Mironov uses a variety of instruments, such as the Celtic harp, the sansula, hang drum, triangle, piano, cello, didgeridoo, drums from the Middle East, clarinet, and many more... The talented artist is currently giving YOGA REATREATS worldwide (e.g. in Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland, Morocco and Bali). When she travels, Elena loves to have her African drum and her Sansula Renaissance with her, as she regularly uses them in her two home countries of Denmark and Sweden. In 2015 she produced her first yoga DVD, which aroused international interest and received excellent press reviews. The soundtrack of the DVD was composed entirely by Elena Mironov and is characterized by its variety of instruments: listeners will hear wonderful cello, piano and percussion sounds. Further information and reviews can be found at www.sparklingyoga.com/press . In the same year, Elena also released her first music CD: www.silvercloudofficial.com . Elena is not just talented, but a versatile artist who works on all her projects with warmth and impressive strength
